Price Science Process
Determining the value of your pinball machines can be confusing, our Price Science Process ( PSP) makes it easy for us to appraise the value of your pinball machine and get you paid.
Step 1: Condition
The first step in the Pinball Resales PSP is understanding the condition of your machine. The easiest way is through pictures but often times some details about the game history and prior locations can help identify condition.

Like other collectibles, condition is often the number 1 driver of price which is why it is step 1 in our process.

Step 2:Â Theme
The next step is to identify the game theme. These can be well known themes licensed from major entertainment groups like Star Wars and Marvel Superheroes or famous music groups like AC/DC and Led Zeppelin. Then there are less known custom themes which were developed by the designer and manufacturer which have no ties to a well known brand. Some of these themes are card games or disaster themes like earthquakes or Tornados.
At Pinball Resales we believe the theme is the second most important aspect to the pinball appraisal because they generate popularity.
Step 3: Manufacturer
The third step in the process is identifying the manufacturer of the pinball machine which will dictate the type. ( See blog post on Pinball type) This is very important because many collectors are dedicated to a specific type of machine. In order for us to find the right collector and the right appraisal, we need to know this information.

Don't worry, we don't expect you to know this, often times the manufacturer and type can be easily identified by pictures.

Step 4: Appraisal Submission
The final step in the PSP appraisal is to submit a formal request so that our team can review you machine and provide a fair market value.
